Extended Day

Red Barn offers an early drop-off program, where parents/caregivers are able to drop off before school. Children enjoy unstructured, play-based time in our indoor space or outdoor space depending on weather with mixed ages.

Early Drop-off

Monday through Friday 8 am - 8:30 am ($15 per morning)

Stay & Play

Monday through Friday 12-2 pm ($50 per afternoon)

Stay and Play is a wonderful opportunity for children to interact in a mixed age group and to gain practice staying at school for a longer day. Students from across different classrooms come together to eat a parent-provided, allergy-friendly lunch. Students eat outdoors (weather permitting) while developing their social skills with a more diverse group of friends. In this extended day group, children will also continue outdoor exploration, as well as spend time inside the classroom. The afternoon curriculum will revolve around the interests of the students and will extend upon learning from the morning. The session will also provide opportunities for children from each class to share interests with each other.
