Enrichment Activities

At Red Barn Nursery School, our team of creative teachers continually strive to develop new learning and enrichment activities for children to explore, discover, create and build. Some of these enrichment elements include: Building a composting research station; working in the frost glass workshop; creating a bug city; making erupting volcanos; developing geoboards; show and tell time.

Jammin’ With You

Jammin’ With You Music Enrichment provides modern, upbeat and interactive music enrichment to children ages 6 weeks – 6 years. Our Music Specialists perform live and engage students (and teachers) in dancing, singing, imaginative play, themed-songs, and of course, jammin’! Flower Yoga

Flower Yoga with Founder, Tara Rachel Jones, M.Ed., E-RYT 500, RCYT and Flower Yoga Certified teacher, Fernanda Nyland, RYT 200, RCYT. Children have great imaginative capacity and enjoy becoming part of nature. Yoga practice is a way of playing together and exploring movement, relaxation, breath and silence in an engaging and age appropriate way. Through story, song and verse in context with the season of the year, children learn the practice of yoga and mindfulness that enhances brain-body connection which strengthens cognitive skills.
